Advancing UNISDR Indicators for a Resilient Private Sector

Alexander Mirescu Latest News

The CEOs of Resilient/City and the Disaster Recovery Institute (www.drii.org/), Chloe Demrovsky, completed another successful workshop with the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction and it’s Global Education Training Institute (GETI) toward advancing indicators and benchmarks towards Resilient Business Plans for the private sector. Drawing on the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and UNISDR’s Scorecard, as well as DRI’s experience in modeling and training on business continuity protocols and standards, the workshop, held at the UNISDR Las Americas regional office in Panama, made measurable progress toward designing standards and setting M&E benchmarks for a resilient private sector.
